By Scott Herman

Fitness model, actor and aspiring fitness mogul Scott Herman is a big fan of BSN®, and he recently sent us this story detailing how he first came to discover BSN® supplements through an introduction to the world-famous N.O.-XPLODE™. We figured since he was kind enough to share his story with us, the least we could do is share it with all of you! Scott has also shot some new videos featuring BSN® products and posted them on YouTube; you can check them out here. - B&S

I have always been an active person. I played sports as a kid and was always outside doing something to break a sweat. It was only natural to start getting into weightlifting at a young age. I had my first job when I was 14 working at Gold's Gym in Methuen, Massachusetts, and since then have taken my fitness to a whole new level. However, sometimes when you need that extra edge, you need the right product to get there.

I was recently a cast member of a popular reality TV show set in Brooklyn, NY. The show is about eight strangers being put in a house to live together and have their lives taped. Our season was different from every other season of the show, because we were the first season that was not given a "Group Job." We were allowed to pursue our goals and dreams, and while I was already an established fitness model, holding the title of "Best Abs on the East Coast" from Men's Health magazine, I decided to pursue modeling and acting.

However, it got pretty crazy with all the traveling from Brooklyn to the city and living with seven other strangers. Working out was something I did on my time, but I quickly realized that if I wanted to be a part of the show, my workout schedule would have to change. I couldn't utilize my favorite slot of 6-8 pm, because that is when everyone was home and I wanted to interact with my roommates. So I began lifting at 3 am. Our curfew was 2:30 am, everyone was in bed by 3 am, so I utilized the early AM to get my workouts in so as not to miss out on any of the action during the day. But as you can imagine, 3 am workouts after a long day can be very hard. But I had some help to get started.

One of my roommates had brought a couple bottles of Fruit Punch N.O.-XPLODE™ and made me a glass one night. My first time trying it was great. I went for two hours and just destroyed everything. We had a gym in our basement equipped with a cable machine, flat bench, adjustable dumbbells, punching and speed bag, treadmills and exercise balls.

The N.O.-XPLODE™ gave me the energy I needed to complete my vigorous workouts at such a late time. I quickly adopted the product and purchased some of my own. The season only aired for 13 one-hour episodes, but we filmed for four months straight, and I felt that I was in better shape once filming was complete! Having a home gym certainly made a difference in my training routine, but I know for sure having the N.O.-XPLODE™ to push me at 3 am made a big difference as well. I am a firm believer that a person should first utilize their own energy and strength and rely on that for a great workout. But products like N.O.-XPLODE™, when used correctly, amplify the intensity you are able to produce.

I have tried many products in my 11 years of working in some of the biggest and nicest gyms around, and when my viewers ask if I stand by N.O.-XPLODE™, my answer is a resounding "Yes."
