My favorite cheat meal these days is pretty simple - pizza! Specifically, I like a pie loaded with pepperoni, green peppers, olives and mushrooms. But remember, cheat meals like this should be few and far between.

Thinking healthier, here's a recipe for one of my favorite high-calorie snacks. It’s great for when you need a good shot of clean energy to carry you through your day.

Power Oatmeal

1 cup Dry Oats
1 tbsp Natural Peanut Butter
1 tbsp Raisins
6 oz Almond Milk
1 tsp Splenda®

A great combination of complex carbs and healthy fats to keep your body well-fueled.

One more thing: make sure you serve this COLD!! It actually tastes awful heated.

Though many people would probably consider my diet on the boring side because I eat virtually the same thing all the time, the truth is that it works for me. Believe me, consistency pays off!

My favorite meal of the day is a breakfast specialty that my wife prepares for me every day. Since my days begin early (6:00 a.m.), it''s important that I start the day off on the right foot with some clean protein for muscle growth and some complex carbs for a steady supply of energy throughout the day. This meal consists of 12 egg whites, one egg yolk, and one cup of oatmeal, along with some cinnamon and Splenda® to taste. Additionally, I will round out this meal with two big spoonfuls of peanut butter as a way to get some healthy fats in.

What I just described is my favorite ''everyday'' meal. As for my favorite meal that I don''t necessarily eat every day, that would be a nice BIG plate of sushi. I love sushi! I like salmon hand rolls, rainbow rolls and salmon sashimi. Enjoy!

My favorite meal changes with the seasons, because as most fitness and figure competitors can probably relate to, we eat so many of the same foods over and over again that boredom is inevitable. That''s why creativity is KEY when it comes to cooking!

For some reason, I am really into grilled chicken shish kebobs lately. I cut boneless, skinless chicken breast (you can substitute chicken with lean red meat or your favorite lean meat) into cubes and use low-fat, organic (all-natural) Italian salad dressing drizzled over the chicken as a tasty marinade. Then I cut up fresh mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, tri-color peppers and garlic for some added flavor. I load it all up on skewers, and grill away!

I serve these chicken shish kebobs over a 1/2 cup of brown rice. This recipe is very filling and tasty!

ENJOY!
